The Ad Interim Study Committee on Domestic Abuse and Sexual Assault was formed by the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church in America in 2019. The committee, made up of 7 elders and 5 advisors, met together over a two and half year period in person and on Zoom to prepare this resource for the denomination. It is our desire that it will bring hope and healing to victims of abuse within our denomination and provide helpful resources for churches to understand and respond to abuse in their midst.
